Vehicle Recovery And Transport Terms And Conditions

By making a booking with us, you are acknowledging and agreeing to our terms and conditions. It is your responsibility to ensure your own safety and the safety of everyone in your vehicle at all times. We are not responsible for any loss of or damage to your vehicle before loading it onto our transporting vehicle, unless the loss or damage occurs during the handling of vehicles in our possession. We do not accept liability for any loss or damage to the contents of your vehicle. It is assumed that you have removed all valuable personal belongings before loading the vehicle onto our truck or handing it over to our driver. Confirmation of your booking or our acceptance to transport your vehicle does not guarantee that the vehicle will be loaded. The actual loading and delivery depend on various circumstances that may prevent us from reaching the collection point or destination. We reserve the right to cancel or delay shipments without incurring any penalties or liabilities.

Payment

A non-refundable deposit of 20% must be paid before we dispatch the driver to your location. The remaining balance should be paid directly to the driver before unloading the vehicle. The deposit will be deducted from the total quoted rate. If we are unable to collect the vehicle on or after the specified day and time due to reasons beyond our control, such as the vehicle not being ready or uncleared funds, the contract will be considered terminated, and we will claim full payment for the transportation order. We reserve the right to charge you for any additional costs incurred during the transportation, such as congestion charges, toll charges, ferry charges, low emission zone charges, etc. Our drivers will wait for a maximum of 30 minutes. If the driver is required to wait longer, a waiting charge of £50.00 per hour per driver will apply. The driver also has the authority to refuse loading a vehicle if they deem it unsafe to do so. While your vehicle is loaded on our truck, it is covered by our 'Goods In Transit' insurance. You can request a copy of the insurance policy if needed. Although we strive to adhere to promised delivery schedules, we are not responsible for late or failed collections or deliveries resulting from unforeseen circumstances beyond our control, such as road works, traffic accidents, breakdowns, adverse weather conditions, etc. Any damage not reported on the delivery note will not be accepted, unless we receive written notification within 48 hours of the delivery and have the opportunity to inspect the damage before any repairs are made. If damage is reported on the delivery note, estimates must be submitted within 7 days, and we reserve the right to claim any replaced parts as proof of damage. We are not responsible for any damage that cannot be attributed to negligence on our part, such as acts of God (storm damage, bird strike, bird droppings, etc.), stone chips, or acts of vandalism beyond our control. We do not provide or accept liability for hire cars, replacement vehicles, or compensation while your vehicle is being repaired. In some cases, we may subcontract the breakdown, recovery, or towing job to third-party companies within our recovery network. If any claim or liability arises, we will provide you with the details of the responsible company and assist in resolving any issues, but we will not accept any financial liability.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

We reserve the right to charge a call out fee of £89.99 or the full cost of the specific booking, as advised at the time of booking, if you decide not to have the vehicle transported or recovered once our driver is at the location. No refunds will be given for cancellations made less than 48 hours before the agreed transport date for advance bookings. No refunds will be given after the vehicle has been transported. For the following cancellation instances/reasons, you will be charged the full amount of the quoted service price: if the driver is on the scene and you cancel for any reason, if the driver determines that you have inaccurately described the condition of your vehicle and the cost of service will be higher than initially quoted, and you cancel the service, or if you fail to cancel service and are Gone On Arrival. If your description of the services needed or the conditions impacting your vehicle is inaccurate or deficient and additional services are required, you are responsible for paying for those services. The services provided by a recovery network provider are subject to any agreement you enter into with them. We are not a party to that agreement and are released from any liability or claims arising from the acts or omissions of the recovery network provider.

Monitoring of telephone calls and emails

Telephone calls or email correspondence made by you for our services or as a result of accessing the site may be recorded and monitored. By using these communication methods, you consent to such recording or monitoring.
